Each Dance Floor Configuration Starts Here

Every Marquee Dance Floor, from an intimate 12' x 12' set up to a 300-guest 32' x 32', is built using the same 4' x 4' modular panels. Each panel features High Pressure Laminate surfaces on both the top and bottom, bonded to a thermoplastic honeycomb core and reinforced with our commercial-grade aluminum frame and cross-bracing system.

Engineered for exceptional strength and durability, Marquee Dance Floors keep the party going indoors or out. Need more space in the future? Simply add individual panels to expand your existing floor.

5 Layers of Extra Strength

HIGHLY ENGINEERED

Other dance floors use regular plywood. That’s not good for moist or humid environments. Our dance floor uses a highly engineered PVC honeycomb core design that is fully waterproof. The honeycomb design has a natural high strength-to-weight ratio. The honeycomb geometry distributes loads evenly providing excellent compressive strength. This provides the dance floor with incredible rigidity and stability while staying lightweight…That’s why they use honeycomb designs on aircrafts and even spacecrafts. Furthermore, the structural stability prevents bending, warping, or buckling under load.

OUTDOOR COMPATIBLE

While our dance floors are not intended for permanent outdoor installations, they are designed to handle a thunderstorm, tropical humidity, and of course, wine spills. Use an inferior plywood dance floor and the wood naturally starts to warp in high humidity environments. Our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) surface acts as a protective shield against the moisture and UV rays. And you never have to worry about rust as all the metal components are made from marine grade aluminum.

Our PVC honeycomb core outperforms traditional plywood by delivering true waterproof protection with zero moisture absorption. Unlike plywood, it will never warp, rot or weaken over time, ensuring long-lasting strength and reliability.

Our smooth, safe, superior floor edge.

While reviewing the dance floor edges, we noticed some are frankly too short and can cause a trip hazard. Our dance floor provides a long 5" ramp with a slope of just 10 degrees. This provides ADA compliance while minimizing any trip hazard (a must in reducing liabilities). Our dance floor edges are made of marine grade aluminum ensuring high quality, rust free performance for years to come.

Our dance floors start with a waterproof aluminum frame--not plywood. With 3mm HPL surface, not their thin 1mm -- or as some use, an even thinner layer of vinyl.

THEIRS: 1mm HPL
Theirs is just plywood with a thin 1mm HPL. No protection against moisture or damage.

There’s really no comparison – Chivari’s new dance floors are built better to last longer. They’re stronger, safer and more beautiful than any dance floors available. Plywood and 1mm laminate or vinyl vs. our ultra-strong aluminum frame and 3mm laminate. You decide.

High Pressure Laminate (HPL)

Our High Pressure Laminate surface is manufactured under high pressure and heat, creating an extremely dense and strong surface. By design, it resists scratches, dents, and impacts better than standard laminate or vinyl flooring. The melamine overlay on HPL acts as a protective shield against moisture, stains, and chemicals. Unlike wood, it won’t warp or swell. And it’s easier to clean and maintain than porous surfaces like hardwood or natural stone.

NOTE: While our legal team won’t let us say that our dance floors are “100% waterproof,” they will admit that our dance floors are designed and built to be virtually resistant to absorbing moisture. You can count on it. We dropped one of our dance floor tiles into this oversized water tank. No wood means no wood rot or weakness.
